Our technical sales engineers can conduct an Anilox roll audit in relatively short period of time and with minimal press disruption. The rollers will be inspected with a high-powered digital microscope for screen parameters, cleanliness, wear, damage and any other aspect that can affect their performance. Once the roll audit has been completed our engineer will be able to give you a verbal summary of the findings, including any actions that need to be taken immediately to improve your process.
This will be followed by a written report which will include:
- Screen specifications for each roller (Line count, cell pattern, original and actual cell volume)
- List of all rolls that require refurbishment or replacement
- Highlights of any housekeeping or cleaning issues.
- Technical recommendations to address any specific print challenges that your operation currently encounters.

When we tested the MaxFlo engraving in 2013 in our Martin 924NT we did not expect much of a difference. However the results achieved were outstanding. This technology is a great advancement from conventional engravings and has exceeded our expectations. With the MaxFlo engraving we have improved print quality on solids and screen which has given us more flexibility in print selection requiring fewer roll changes. This make us more competitive in the markets we supply. It has also proven to be easier to clean and has better ink transfer. We have now started a project to convert all the anilox rollers on our Goepfert press to Maxflo technology."
