Cheshire Anilox Technology and Mark Andy Print Products, the supplies and consumables division of Mark Andy Inc., signed a distribution agreement back in February 2020.
One year on and their relationship is flourishing, despite the limitations brought in first by the covid pandemic and lockdowns and secondly by Brexit.
MAPP awarded Cheshire Anilox Technology preferred supplier status after having been using Cheshire Anilox for more than 20 years in most of its press sales in Europe and India.
Stringent quality tests and trials of Cheshire anilox rolls were conducted at Mark Andy UK in Macclesfield to measure colour density consistency at different speeds, ink spitting, pinholing and opacity in white ink applications, overall build quality and smoothness of the ink laydown. The results were of outstanding quality.
This key strategic partnership supports a common objective for both companies – advancing flexographic print quality and improving workflow productivity, all in support of increasing pressroom profitability.
“Mark Andy Print Products was excited for the opportunity to add yet another premium product to our extensive portfolio and the association has been very successful. Partnering with Cheshire in Europe and India solidifies our strategic mission to optimize a converter’s operation, enabling them to reduce downtime and drive profitability,” shares Dave Telken, Vice President of Mark Andy Print Products.
Sonia Arcos, Technical Sales Director of Cheshire Anilox Technology commented, “We are proud to be associated with Mark Andy, a leading flexographic press manufacturer. Together we offer a unique value and attractive solution for label printers and converters, combining superior product quality with extensive flexographic printing expertise.”
